There's no getting around having some basic gear and the interface is as necessary as it gets if you're making any music that originates in the analog realm. ![]() Here's the listing page at Reverb for them and here's a roundup of sub-$100 interfaces. ![]() (First time with the Xbox 360 version, I thought it was because it was my Strat's weak single coil pickups, but when I tried with the PC version and a Duncan Trembucker, it still barely got enough level in the calibration setting.)Īdorama used to have crazy cheap deals on Scarlett interfaces (like $80 for a Solo), but it's been a while looking at SlickDeals. Heck, I've never been able to get it to work with Rocksmith either. I happen to have a couple of those cables and for grins I tried to see if it would work instead of mucking about with either my TonePort-G or Scarlett 2i2 and it simply didn't put out enough level.
